Donny Changes The Dynamics Of The Week – By Himself
I’m not going to lie, with the way the house had Donny as their target this week, I fully expected to see him face off against Hayden and Nicole to re-enter the house this Thursday night. Derrick nominated him with Christine, as she was the only one willing to throw the BotB competition, and Frankie nominated Caleb and Cody to face off against them. Donny gets an already weak player who is throwing the competition and he has to square off against the self proclaimed ‘beast mode’ of the season. Many were already plotting what they were going to do about the veto competition, but they didn’t see this coming…
When the feeds returned from the battle of the block competition, the ultimate surprise happened. Donny had a smile on his face. He won. Christine did everything in her power to throw the competition short of sabotaging it (production wouldn’t let her), and Donny still managed to beat both Caleb and Cody. That is going to make fantastic TV on Sunday night. Not only was Donny thrilled and America happy, but apparently Derrick heard members of production cheering when he won. Donny may feel alone in the Big Brother house, but he has an entire Big Brother viewership pulling for him. The guy is becoming a reality show hero.
This is definitely good news, but it has potential to be bad due to who is currently on the block. If the power of veto is not used, Caleb will likely be evicted Thursday night, except he’ll be spun right around and allowed to compete to re-enter. Considering there has been only one endurance competition this season (if you call it that – on day 1), we are badly due for one. I am fairly confident they will use the BB15 format where the remaining houseguests AND the jury members will compete for the sole HoH in an endurance-based competition. As a fan, I’d much rather have Nicole and Hayden competing alongside Jocasta and Victoria instead of Jocasta and Caleb.
If Victoria competes, the odds of Hayden or Nicole re-entering the house increase to about 95%. If it’s Caleb competing and it’s endurance, I’d say that figure drops to around 40-50% at best. So if you’re a Donny fan, cross your fingers and your toes for Caleb to emerge victorious from the veto competition. Him winning veto is the best possible scenario to potentially having Donny gain an ally this Thursday night.
The veto this week will be zingbot, and the players have already been drawn. Victoria, Donny and Christine will join Frankie, Caleb and Cody competing in one of the biggest veto challenges of the season.
For those wondering, we won’t see zingbot on the feeds (maybe for a second), but I am sure the house will retell all his painful (some funny) zings. I wonder if they’re going to zing Caleb with a cross promotion of the new CBS show ‘Stalker’.
I will put up a live feed thread a bit later. I am sure it will be incredibly slow until after the veto, but if it takes awhile for zingbot to enter, I will create a live feed thread in an hour or two just keeping you updated. Have a good Saturday!
