Frankie’s Dominance Over Big Brother 16 Continues
I know this isn’t going to be a super popular post due to the Frankie’s comments throughout the season, but you gotta give the man some credit, he is destroying this season of Big Brother. Even if he doesn’t win the grand prize, he’s already won nearly 2nd place money between stipend and Team America missions, and if he’s in the final 2, he’ll have a really good shot at winning it all. Last night, he picked up his 9th competition win of the season after winning the power of veto. Sure, the HoH and PoV are going to be reset this week, but winning the comps won’t be erased from the minds of jury members.
However, with the positives are always negatives because it’s quite obvious how hard to beat he is, so Frankie will likely have to continue winning HoH or PoV if he wants to remain in the game. He knows it, and that’s why this week when Julie tells him those two competitions are for nothing, we may see his eyes turn red.
Speaking of Frankie.. he and Derrick finally set out to do the Team America mission last night, and that was to pretend there was a rodent in the house and keep them awake until 6am. This was pretty much a ‘gimme’ win for them seeing as they’re going to win on a technicality similar to the ‘nominate a threat’ week. The challenge is to ‘wear down your opponent’, which one would assume means before a competition to give them an advantage. However, they chose to do it the night after the veto competition and started at 3:22am. Sure, they did the mission and sure it was a bit entertaining, but it was probably the easiest route to victory in a house full of night owls. Keeping them awake until 6am is not a challenge, and doing it on a night with no competitions the next day? Easy.
A real challenge would have been to keep someone like Donny up until 6am.. but hey, it’s not my money. If CBS wants to just hand out $5k checks to people, feel free to send one my way!
So, another slow day in the house is likely to happen. On the bright side, it’s football season! Unless of course you’re not a football fan, and then it’s a nightmare.
