Celebrity Big Brother 3 – The I’m Alive And Update Thread!

Good evening, everyone!

It’s been a bit since my last update. A lot of real-life going on and I always shuffle around RL during the summer to make sure the updates are flowing, but the Celebrity version is just hard.  Feeds are down way more often than normal and it’s harder to get emotionally invested in a 3 week season.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been watching and paying attention and this is certainly the best CBB season to date (granted the bar was pretty fucking low), but it’s hard to get in the rhythm of updates with the shortened season.  Long story short, I love you all, and in no way does this have any impact on summer.

But the real reason it’s been so long is that I meant to make a post a few days ago and I forgot. Then it became awkward to just jump on and either (a) apologize or (b) act like nothing happened, so I chose (c) wait even longer to make it more awkward and then apologize anyway.   You know how it is.  Like when you forget someone’s birthday.  That’s another situation I’ll end up just waiting so long that everything turns incredibly uncomfortable and nobody talks to me.  Hmm, maybe that’s why I have no friends.

Oh wow, haven’t done a long personal ramble opening in a while.  On to what you actually care about….

So Carson went from early-season favorite to win it all to a complete bonehead in a matter of two weeks. That was brilliant.  It’s always rewarding to see someone make such a dumb move and then instantly suffer some karma as a result. That’s just stuff we’ve kind of been missing in recent seasons. The quick reward to fans.  But that was more than 24h ago in the house which is basically a lifetime for this format.  We already have a new HoH (Todrick) and new noms (Todd/Lamar).

What we need to happen now is for Cynthia to win the power of veto for the extra sprinkle of the excitement of Todrick being forced to put up his ally. That’s always the best part of the final 5 and really final 4 as well.  The very real situation of the HoH being forced to nominate an ally.
